Following the first CPS-led webinar on Monday 14 September and the second webinar on Wednesday 9 December, CARG and CWT are co-hosting a third follow up seminar. During the first webinar, the CPS introduced their work, nationally and locally, to raise awareness of what hate crime is. In the second seminar, the CPS focused on the legal framework for Hate Crime in England and Wales
The third follow up seminar will be held on Wednesday 21 April. The CPS, together with the Police, will present and take questions on all aspects of investigation and prosecution of hate crime; from initial report, investigation, evidence gathering, victim support and file submission to the CPS for charging decision. The contents of this webinar is essential knowledge for anyone seeking to advise victims on reporting hate crime. There will be an interactive Q&A session.
